5月1日是国际劳动节。据相关资料显示:国际劳动节源于美国芝加哥城的工人,为争取八小时工作制而举行的大罢工,节日得以确立并广泛推行的背后是不同工种,不同肤色的工人们,为改善工作条件而做出的流血抗争。
然而,就在绝大多数人都在为了改善工作条件而努力时,有一群人却仍然在为能够就业而努力。这群人来自不同的国家地区,有着不同的生活背景,却有一个共同的名字------残障人士。

Let's have a closer look at article 27 of the UN convention on the Right of persons with disabilities.
让我们一起详细地了解一下联合国《残疾人权利公约》第27条
The UN CRPD is a binding United Nations Human Rights treaty for persons with DISABILITIES. signed and ratified by27 EU Member States and the EU itself.
联合国《残疾人权利公约》是一项针对残障人士,并具有约束力的人权条约。欧盟的27个成员国及欧盟已签署并批准此项条约。
注: 2008年6月26日中国政府经全国人大常委会批准《残疾人权利公约》,成为《残疾人权利公约》的第33个缔约国。2008年8月31日,《残疾人权利公约》正式对中国,包括香港和澳门特别行政区开始生效。
Article 27 recognizes with every person with a disability including people with psychosocial disability have the right to work like everyone else and should never be discriminated against, which means equal opportunity to gain a living through a job they've chosen in a safe work environment that is open, inclusive and accessible to fall the right to work hopes to ensure that people with psychosocial disabilities can find quality employment through support in their job search and in theworkplace
《残疾人权利公约》第27条明确指出,包括社会心理障碍人士在内的所有残障人士有权像普通人一样工作,不受歧视。这意味着自主选择开放、包容、无障碍的工作环境,平等地获得工作机会,以便社会心理障碍人士能够在求职和工作中获得支持,实现优质就业。
A psychosocial disability is a long-term mental health problem which when combined with barriers in society becomes disabling sadly there are many barriers for persons with psychosocial disabilities who wish to work.
社会心理障碍是一个长期的心理健康问题,和社会中存在的各种障碍有关。社会心理障碍者渴望工作,却也面临着诸多挑战。

Amy has a job in a company She like. She also happens to have a physical disability.
艾米在一家公司里,做着自己喜欢的工作,同时,她有心理障碍。
's afraid of losing a job, her colleagues her career and much more.
她不想公开自己的残障情况,因为她害怕失去工作,害怕被同事们议论,害怕因此影响自己未来的事业。
Amy is anxious about her situation. She's not getting much sleep and spends her nights worrying about what will happen is good to find about her disability.
艾米为自己的处境感到十分焦虑,她的睡眠总是不充足,整夜都在担心:万一,自己的残障被发现了,会闹出哪般状况?
why because unfortunately in today's wealth disclosure remains difficult..
这是为什么呢?很遗憾,即使在今天这个富裕的社会里,要吐露实情仍然很困难。
Disclosure mean informing your employer of your disability.
吐露实情意味着把自己的残障状况告知老板。
Amy should know that she has the right not only to tell her employer about a disability but to ask for reasonable accommodation.
艾米不仅有向老板说明残障情况的权利,还应当有权申请合理便利。
Reasonable accommodation is one of the safeguards. In article 27 which could be helpful for Amy.
《残疾人权利公约》里的二十七条,明确指出:合理便利是残障人就业的保障措施之一,这对艾米来说,可能很有利。
It consists of adjustments that can be reasonably made in workplace as long as they don't face an unfair burden on Amy's employer thanks to her right of reasonable accommodation.
这些措施包括:在不给雇主造成过度负担前提下,针对Amy的状况,在工作场所进行一些适当的调整。
Amy could for example receive support from an employment support worker, work more flexible hours or work from home, receive tailored training and supervision enjoy quieter office weekend helping me and many other people by encouraging employers and managers to take quality mental health and human rights training, fostering openness about mental health in the workplace, find out about the right to work and employment.
Amy可以寻求就业辅导员的支持,可以让工作时间变得更有弹性, 可以选择在家完成工作;可以接受个性化的培训和督导,享受更宁静的工作日与周末时光。鼓励老板和企业管理人员为Amy和其他同事进行优质的心理健康和人权方面的培训,增进对人们对工作权和就业权的了解,用更开放的态度看待职场里的心理健康话题。
