摘要:儿童是天生的感官探索者。印度残障者组织发起的感官乐园项目为有特殊需求的孩子们创设了自由活动的安全空间,让孩子们在攀爬、行走、听闻、触摸等训练过程中收获各样的感官经验,并保护他们在玩耍的过程中不受意外伤害。

有一所乐园,坐落在校园中,和别的乐园一样,这里也有滑梯和秋千,但,这里的地面很特别,就算摔倒了也不必害怕,这里还有一条足底按摩步道,不仅好玩,还能提高身体机能呢......

让残障儿童玩得很嗨的感官乐园长啥样?

The Association of People with Disability (APD) has built a sensory park in the school at Lingarajapuram for children with special needs to play. he APD school caters to children with speech and hearing impairment, cerebral palsy, autism and locomotor disability.

在印度班加罗尔市北部地区,印度残障者组织(APD)[1]在一所学校建立了一所可以让特殊孩子玩耍的感官乐园。这所学校,致力于言语和听力障碍、脑性麻痹、自闭症、运动功能障碍的儿童的服务。

The park has been fitted with special materials to stimulate their senses and enable better mobility. Like other parks, it has equipment such as swings and slides. But the floor of the park is laid with soft materials which cushion the children if they fall.

感官乐园内的设施能使孩子们的感知功能和运动功能得到改善。像别的乐园一样,这里也有滑梯和秋千,不同的是,乐园的地面上铺上了比较柔软的材料,这样,如果孩子摔倒了,也可以有一个缓冲。

My daughter is five years old.She was very weak. After coming here, she is getting good exercise and her condition has improved.

我的孩子五岁了,身体很虚弱,她在感官乐园玩得很开心,身体状况也有所改善。

They walk around independently; she is able to walk but this bending of the knee is there to improve further. Now, she mingles with the children. Also, she started writing independently now, seeing the board.. And so, these are the improvements.

在这里,孩子们都能自由地活动,我的孩子可以走路,却不太能弯曲膝盖。现在,她和其他孩子一起成长,学着独立写字,看黑板,这些都是她取得的进步。

There is also a reflexology path. A pathway in concentric circles made of different elements like water, grass, and pebbles. It has iron bars to help children walk alone and gain better control of their motor skills.

乐园中还有一条同心圆形状的足底按摩步道。由几种不同的材料组成,分别是水、草,鹅卵石。借助两旁的栏杆,孩子可以独立行走,锻炼运动能力。

The sensory integration is helping a child to be mobile, balanced, and all that stuff. So, that is what is provided in the sensory track--we call it reflexology path. So, that is the main part of the sensory park.

一系列的感官训练可以让孩子更加灵活,平衡能力更强等,这就是我们在感官轨道上提供的足底按摩小路。它是感官乐园的重要组成部分。

The APD school seems to train children with disability to become self-reliant. It also mixes them with children without special needs to improve their social skills.

APD 学校非常注重培养残障儿童的独立能力。学校有意让特殊孩子和普通孩子一起成长,期待用这种方式提高残障儿童的社交能力。

We run our own school which is not a special school but a reverse integration. where you would find 20%of children who do not have any disability.

这是一所融合的学校,而不是一所特殊学校。校园里有五分之一的非残障儿童。
