——一位父亲对女儿的生命告白

Just like anybody else, that's how Emily White from Hampshire feels despite living with a condition called spina bifida which confined set to a wheelchair.

旁白：每个人都有不一样的人生经历，英国汉普郡的艾米丽·怀特也不例外，她有先天性脊柱裂，需要终身使用轮椅。

Now together with her father Dan, she's keen to show other disabled children that living with disability doesn't mean they're any less super than anyone else. In fact, perhaps they're a little more so.

she's literally just pushed her own way into life.She is such an outward-going positive fun amazing child like so many of these kids in the disabled community are.

爸爸：她有自己独特的生活方式，她是一个开朗、乐观、令人惊叹的孩子，很多残障社群里的孩子也和她一样。

Having struggled to find role models for Emily to look up to, Dan sets out to create the Department of ability, a new comic book where all the superheros have disabilities of their own, and what's more, Emily is the main character.

旁白：为了能让艾米丽感受到榜样的力量，丹创作了一本全新的漫画书，书里的每一位超级英雄都身有残障，值得一提的是艾米丽在书中扮演了主角。

They have own their abilities to withstand enemy. It is very good and she got a flying wheelchair.she has a gun，take from pants....a pants gun.

艾米丽：他们都有自己抵御敌人的绝招，都很厉害，她有一辆会飞的轮椅和一把裤枪。

The comic show each character's disability as their main power and strength. And Dan want to spread the word that the disabled community has far more to offer than people know.

旁白：在这部漫画里，残障给每个人物带来了力量，丹想告诉读者：残障群体能创造出的奇迹比人们能想到的，还要多得多。

This community of 1 billion plus worldwide has some of the best writers, dancers, rappers, actors, singers, directors, photographers. They are just waiting to be tapped into. It needs to happen. I am sure it will happen.

爸爸：这个群体拥有10多亿来自世界各地的成员，其中不乏世界上最好的作家、舞蹈家、说唱歌手、演员、歌唱家、导演、摄影家......他们只是暂时无人问津。需要有人去发觉他们。我坚信一定会有的。

He hopes the success of the comic could even lead to department of ability foundation which could supply mobility aids and entertainment for kids. But for now this dad is just pleased to be making a difference for his daughter and people like her around the world.

旁白：他期待漫画书获得成功后，甚至可以逐渐建立起一个基金会，为残障儿童提供辅具使用以及娱乐方面的支持。不过目前，这位父亲觉得能为自己的女儿以及世界上那些和女儿有同样境遇的人带来一些改变就已经很高兴了。

I feel very very grateful like she is very lucky. I mean, like I said, I'm only part of a bigger army that feels the same way. but it's nice to have the spotlight on these characters and this premise and this concept，because it's showing that it's accessible. This concept is accessible for any child because every single child in the world, regardless of their ability, is smart intelligent and far more clever than people give them credit
