五步,打造融合课堂

It's my job to help all my students be successful learners. How can I get better at that?

我的工作是让每个学生都能高效学习。我可以怎样做得更好呢?

step 1:beliefs set the direction

第1步:信念决定方向

Every student can learn.

每个学生都有学习能力。

How can I teach my students to value people who are different?

我要怎样教会学生尊重差异?

How can I make sure each of my students is successful?

我如何让每个学生都能获得成功?

How can I help each one develop their gifts and serve others?

怎样去帮助学生发掘天赋、并运用天赋帮助他人?

every student can learn. I can help all my student succeed!

How we feel affects how well we learn. Some tasks are harder for some people So we explain that each person has different strengths to work with and that everyone has weaknesses.

我们的感受会影响学习效果,一些课题难度因人而异,由此可以看出:每个人都有长处,当然每个人也都有弱点。

There are different kinds of smart. Knowing and using your strengths builds confidence. But we also grow by doing things that stretch us. Mistakes help us learn. don't stress. We can learn strategies to calm or energize as needed. Then we can focus on thinking and learning.

每个人都有不同的闪光点,了解并运用自己的长处可以建立自信,而那些不顺心的事也会让我们成长,错误也能让我们学到很多。不要有压力,也别恐慌!我们可以根据实际情况决定保持冷静还是充满活力,这样就可以专注的思考和学习了。

It takes time to teach these skills, but it's worth the investment. It save time in the long run. Happy, calm kids can do more.

教授这些技能需要时间,所有的付出都是值得的,其实从长远看也节省了很多时间。快乐、从容的孩子学习效率更高。



Step 3:learn together

一起学习


Independence is useful. but caring attitudes and behaviors shrivel up in a culture where each person is responsible only for himself. We build relationships and learn responsibility by helping others.

独立是有用的,但如果每个人都只想着自己,就很难去关爱他人。帮助别人能建立人与人之间的联系,培养责任感。

We also learn how to collaborate,putting our different strength together. Because thinking together means thinking better. Working together with people who have different strengths builds appreciation for diversity.

我们需要学会合作,发挥每个人的长处,集思广益后会有更棒的想法。与不同能力的伙伴合作,让我们学会欣赏每个人的独特之处。

We collaborate as teachers and leaders. Strategies that help kids with disabilities help everybody else learn too!

我们以老师和领头人的身份合作。帮助残障儿童的策略,在其他学生身上同样适用。

Differentiation tools:adapting the task to each learner's abilities.

Keep teaching and learning visible to students, teachers and parents.

Step 5:Use what we know about how brains grow.

第五步:了解大脑的生长方式



Taking care of our brain means taking care of our body.

关爱我们的大脑就是关爱我们的身体。

Drink lots of water.

多喝水

Eat nutrient-rich foods

吃有营养的食物

Get enough rest!

保证充足的休息

Brains learn by making connections:Patterns in math,Patterns in stories. So we help kids find them. So we help kids find them.

大脑通过建立联系来学习:数学思维和故事思维,让我们帮助孩子找到它们。

Movement and novelty help us focus our attention.

运动和新奇感能帮助我们集中注意力。

Developmental stages affect learning but we grow at different rates and along different pathways.

发育阶段会影响学习,我们每个人的成长速度都有差异,都有属于自己的成长轨道。
