他的举止有点不同，有时也会很吵，有时上着上着课还会突然跑出去......这让小组里的成员都很困惑。

相处久了，我们了解到，原来麦克斯有自闭症，有时一些气味或噪音会让他感到困扰。当和很多小朋友在一起时，他会不知所措，他的感官可能比其他人更敏感。

而更深入地了解他后，我们发现麦克斯也是一个很酷的男孩，能和我们成为好朋友。我们在一起能玩得很开心。

现在，我慢慢懂得：有自闭症的麦克斯有着和其他人不一样的思维方式，但这也没什么大不了的，因为我们每个人都是独特的。只要我们在一起，用心了解彼此，我们都可以按自己的方式学习成长，成为最棒的自己。

Hi there, my name is Charlie and these are my friends Max, Dave, and Sam.When I started year six this year, I was so excited of becoming a peer support leader.Once our group started, I notice there was a kid in my group who seemed a little different to the others, that was Max.

Sometimes I make loud noises, flap my arms and spin round and round Cause it actually helps me to become more relaxed.There's also a lady that comes with me to Charlie's group In case I need to go for a walk Or help with understanding what Charlie wants to do in her group

有时我会很吵，我会一直挥舞手臂，因为这样能让我感到很放松。会有阿姨带我到查莉的小组，我想出去走走的时候她就会帮我。她也会帮助我了解查莉团队。

For a while, we would all be confused and didn't really know why Max acted different at times or why he had a helper.Turns out Max had Autism Spectrum Disorder.After learning more about Autism Spectrum Disorder learned that Max gets upset sometimes because some smells, noise, and lots of kids in the same room can be very overwhelming for him. Max's senses, like his hearing, are very sensitive. The lady following Max around is the teacher's aide.Dave, Sam, and I decided to get to know Max a little better.And it turns out, Max is a pretty cool kid and a great friend.Max thinks a little differently to others and sometimes acts differently too. I guess when you think about it, we're all different in our own way.Like Sam, he needs a wheelchair to move around, I have really curly hair, and Dave needs glasses to see well.It's no big deal and being different is what makes us unique.Did you know that not one person with autism is the same as another? Max doesn't talk much but we found out he really likes trains.he knows heaps of stuff about them. That's why we call him'Marvelous Max.He knows all the different types of trains and what they are used for.Sometimes though, he only wants to play train games.

开始的时候，我们都很困惑，不知道麦克斯为什么时常举止特别，也不明白为什么他有助手阿姨。原来，麦克斯是自闭症人士呀！随着对自闭症的认识越来越深，我了解到：有时一些气味或噪音会让麦克斯感到困扰。当和很多小朋友在一起时，麦克斯会不知所措，他的感官，例如听觉，非常敏感。那个与麦克斯形影不离的女士就是老师的助手。我和戴夫、山姆进一步了解麦克斯后发现麦克斯也很酷啊，我们是好朋友。麦克斯有着和其他人不同的思维方式，有时也会做出与众不同的举止，但仔细想想，我们每个人都是独特的。就像山姆需要用轮椅代步，我的头发天生就卷得特别厉害，戴夫要戴眼镜。这没什么大不了的，相反，这些不同之处会让我们更独特。你知道吗？每个自闭症人士都是独一无二的，麦克斯话不多，但他特别喜欢火车。他了解很多这方面的知识，我们都叫他"了不起的麦克斯"。他认识很多不同的火车并知道它们的用途。但有时，他只玩小火车游戏。

We all love playing soccer together, so we ask Max to play with us too.He just watched at first. But now on somedays Max loves playing soccer with us. Max loves keeping score, he has a great memory, so that's his job every time he plays with us.

我们都很喜欢踢足球，我们也让麦克斯和我们一起玩。刚开始他就在一边看着，但现在，有时候他也会和我们一起踢球。麦克斯喜欢计分，他的记忆力超级强，我们每次踢球的计分员都是他。

Max is really caring too. While we were playing in our play groups the other day, Dave's glasses fell off and Max yelled out for everyone to stop while he ran over and picked them up for him.He always remembers everyone's duty day too and reminds us just in case we forget.

麦克斯也很会照顾人，前几天我们在操场玩耍时，戴夫的眼镜掉了，麦克斯把大家叫停，然后跑过去帮戴夫捡眼镜。值日表他全都能记下来，他会提醒我们值日。

Remember it's always better to include everyone when you play so they don't feel left out and sad.If you're not sure how to do this then make sure to ask your teacher on ideas to make play time a better experience for everyone. And to make sure no one is left out.Also, have a talk on how different you are from others.Remember being different is awesome. Even if kids seem a little different on the outside, If you really get to know them, then they could end up being your best friend.That's how we all became friends. We now call ourselves the "Marvelous Max Crew"

记住大家最好可以一起玩，不让小朋友感到孤立冷落。如果你不知道怎么做到，可以去请教老师，大家一起想办法，让大家都玩得更开心。不丢下任何一个小朋友。还可以说一说你的小特别，要知道与众不同最酷了。哪怕有些小朋友看起来有点不一样，但如果你真正了解他们，就会和他们成为好朋友。我们就是这样成为好朋友的。我们每个人都是"了不起的麦克斯"。
