【科普】我们的《公约》，我们的权利

摘要：联合国《残疾人权利公约》是由残障人参与编写并为其制定的一部国际公约。它是为了确保包括肢体、精神、智力或感官有长期损伤在内的人，参与并融入社会。中国政府于2007年签署了《公约》，2008年正式批准。

2006年12月13日，61届联合国大会一致通过《残疾人权利公约》和《任择议定书》。2008年8月31日，《残疾人权利公约》正式对中国包括香港和澳门特别行政区开始生效。

这是由残障人参与编写，并为其制定的一部国际公约。

Human rights are the basic rights and freedoms we are all entitled to.

人权是上天赋予我们最基本的权利和自由。

Disabled people campaigned for decades for human rights convention of their own.

为了一份自己的人权公约，残障人不遗余力地努力了几十年。

the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities was written by and is for disabled people.

联合国《残疾人权利公约》是由残障人参与编写并为其制定的一部国际公约。

It is for people with long term physical, mental, intellectual and sensory impairments any types of human bodies to be included in society.

它是为了确保包括肢体、精神、智力或感官有长期损伤在内的人，参与并融入社会。

It was sighed by thePRC government in 2007 and ratified in 2008.

中国政府于2007年签署了《公约》，2008年正式批准。

That means the government must take action to make sure disabled people enjoy their human rights .

这意味着政府必须采取措施以确保残障人能够享有其人权。

When using Human rights Act or Ｅquality Act, you can refer to the Disability Convention.

当使用《人权法》或《平等法》时，我们应该以《公约》为依据。

There are different steps you can get involved in convention.

我们有很多方式可以参与到《公约》的实施进程中。

You can shape decisions, ask questions, share experiences, challenge everybody else and influence change.

你可以影响决策，提出问题，分享经验，挑战他人的想法，促进改变的发生。

The Disability Convention sets out the full range of your rights, such as : the right to choose your own support for independent living. the right to work. the right to equal access participation in education. the right to be free from violence and harassment.、the right to make your own decision and have your voice heard.

残障人的各项权利在《公约》中都有体现，例如：选择独立生活并获得相应支持的权利、工作的权利、平等受教育的权利、免于暴力和骚扰的权利、自主决策的权利......你的声音，应该被聆听。

The right to take part and have the same access to sport,culture and leisure activities. The right to decide where to live, who to be in a relationship with, who to live with.，The right to information in ways you can understand. It is your convention, your rights.

平等、充分地参与体育、文化和娱乐活动的权利；决定住在哪里，和谁交往，和谁一起生活的权利；以你能理解的方式获取信息的权利......这是我们的《公约》，我们的权利。
