残障儿童发声,你听见了吗?
Memunatu:It is important as children with disabilities, and as girls to be able to talk.,Us, children with disabilities, we know how we feel. That's why it is important for us to be heard.
作为残障儿童和女孩,能够为自己发声很重要。我们残障儿童,我们清楚自己的感受。这就是为什么我们的声音很重要。
旁白:200 million children around the world have a disability,children with disabilities often experience isolation, stigma and discrimination.
世界上有200万残障儿童,孤立、耻辱与歧视经常伴随着残障儿童。
Baromie:When I got polio I lost my friends. My parents left me while they worked on the farm. I was alone.
父母在农场工作时把我留在家。患上小儿麻痹症后我失去了朋友。只有我一个人。
Memunatu:Girls with disability in my community who are not at school fall pregnant to men. The men deny responsibility. The girls are left to deal with this alone.
我们社区的残障女孩没有学上就会怀孕。男人们拒绝负责。留下残障女孩独自面对。
Kapri:Sometimes when I am left alone at home or my friends leave me,I get bullied because I have polio and I am unable to run.
有时当我被独自留在家或者朋友不在身边时,我会被欺凌,因为我有小儿麻痹症,我无法奔跑。
Memunatu:On my first day at school, I was not happy. Because I live with a disability, I was alone. I was unable to walk. The other children left me alone and went out to play.
第一天上学的时候,我很不开心。因为身有残障,我被落单了。我不能走路。其他的孩子让我一个人呆着,然后跑出去玩了。
Baromie:The toilet at my school is not disabled friendly,There are times when I go there everything is messed up and dirty. I have to get out of my wheel chair and place my hands on the floor. It makes me unhappy and discouraged.
学校的厕所不够残障友好。有时我去上厕所发现里面很脏很乱。我不得不从轮椅上下来,手撑在地上上厕所。这让我很不开心,很沮丧。
旁白:but there are many steps we can take to see, hear & support children with disabilities.
但是我们可以做很多事情来关注、倾听和支持残障儿童。
Philip:My older brother says to me:"Philip, go to school. If you become educated,other community member will realise that even though you have a disability, you can do something!"
我的哥哥对我说:"菲利普,去上学吧如果你受教育了周围的人就会意识到即使身有残障,也一样可以做些什么!"
Baromie:When I started school the teachers called an assembly for all the pupils in the school, and said, this is a friend of yours. She is now one of the members of the school. so consider one of your friends too. Don't be afraid of her. She is like you, her condition is not a risk. So from then, they started playing with me. I started to become happy, I started having friends.
我入学时老师们召集了全体学生,对他们说,这是你们的朋友,她现在是学校的一员了。所以把她当作你们的朋友,所以从那以后,他们开始和我一起玩了。我变得快乐了,也有了朋友。
Memunatu: I think it is important for children with disability, like the hearing impaired and the vision impaired, to go to school. That is why they should have training for teachers.
我认为让残障儿童上学很重要,比如听力障碍和视力障碍儿童。这就是为什么应该有针对教师的相关培训。
Kapri: When I complete school, I want to be President. I will build houses for people with disabilities, so they are not on the street. I would also build schools for them, so they can become educated, like me.
我毕业后想当总统。我要给残障人士造房子,这样他们就不用露宿街头。我还要给他们建学校,这样他们就可以受教育,就像我一样。
Memunatu: I want to be a nurse. I will treat people with disabilities and I will treat them for free.
我想当护士。我要为残障人士治病,为他们免费治病。

Baromie:,When I am a lawyer, I will encourage and support children with disabilities, to get an education so they can look forward to their future.
我当上律师后,要鼓励和支持残障儿童接受教育,这样,他们就可以对未来有所期待。
Memunatu:Whether or not we have a disability, we are all human beings. We all have the same human rights.
不管是否残障,我们都是人,我们拥有同样的人权!
