my name is Shannon. I'm 15 years old. I have cerebral palsy.

我是香侬，今年15岁了，我有脑性麻痹。

The muscles in my body do not work well.For me, that means all my muscles, even my mouth, th it is hard for me to get my body to listen to me.

我的肌肉不太受控制，就是身上所有的肌肉，包括嘴巴上的肌肉都"不听话"。

I cannot walk, talk, or feed myself on my own.I might drill or move my body in funny ways, but I can't help it.I love my wheelchair. It's awesome.

我不能说话，不能走路，也不能独立进食，我的肢体动作时常很滑稽，但我也控制不了。我喜欢我的轮椅，它太棒了。

Even though things are at times hard for me, I focus all the things that make me happy and what I can do，which is pretty much anything I set my mind to.

当我遇到很多生活中的困难时，我就会去想那些让我开心的事和我能做到的事，差不多就是那些我坚持做的事情。

Even though I can't talk, I can hear and understand everything people are saying.When people ask about me, I think it's important that they know I understand.So I kill my head back for and nod it down for no, and then show them how my communication device words. that helps them to realize that there is a real person sitting in front of them.

虽然我不能说话，但我可以听懂大家在说什么。当人们想要了解我，我认为有必要让他们知道我能听懂他们的话。所以我会向后仰起头然后低头示意大家，展示我的设备是如何发出声音的,让他们知道，坐在他们面前的是一个活生生的人。

I would want people without CP to know that we are just like you. Except our bodies don't work so well.

我想让那些没有脑性麻痹的人知道------你我没什么不同，只不过我们的身体不太受控制罢了。

I love my school. I like to work hard and learning to try new things.I have lots of friends, some with CP and some without.My mom is so awesome. I love her. We are very close.And she knows me better than anyone.we love to be out and. I go to all if my mom's soccer games, I love cheering her on in. All her teammates are so nice and fun. They make me feel like I am a part of the team too.

我喜欢上学，喜欢努力去尝试新事物。我有很多朋友，有的有脑性麻痹，有的没有，我的妈妈非常棒，我很爱她，我和她非常亲近。没有人比她更了解我。我们常常喜欢出去走走，妈妈的每一场球赛我都会去，为她加油，我感到很开心。妈妈的队友都很友善，也很有趣，他们让我觉得我也是球队里的一员。

This is my life. And I choose to make the best of it. I choose happiness.

这就是我的生活，我要努力变得更幸福，更快乐。
